On May 26, 2011 with support and patronage of Pisa ‘s Mayor, Mr. Marco Pilipesc, the exhibition ” intercultural cooperation – Georgian Arts & Crafts at school ” was held. The exhibition lasted three days : 26, 27 and 28 May . The opening was attended by the Consul in Italy, Mr vankhtang Andguladze. The participants of the exhibition were also members of charitable foundation “Lazare” and private school named after Saint Queen Tamar. During the exhibition, there were held meetings with schools, colleges, heads of institutions, teachers, businessmen and all interested parties of Tuscany region. Both – mayor of Pisa and President of the district of Casarticani in Tuscany, Mr. Roberto Biondi are interested in Georgian Arts. Also, Mr. Biondi want to Georgian folk handicrafts will be sold in the Tuscany region.
